Loved my stay here. Close enough to walk to the park. Fell asleep to the sound of the water. Food was fine as well. I did not hear any noise from the bar either.

If you are looking for an authentic Guatemalan homestay, this is the perfect place for you! Mary and her family are very welcoming and the food they prepared was great and well priced. The tour to Semuc Champey with her son David was the best!!! When you arrive at the bus station they will pick you up by tuctuc. Very handy!

Lovely home stay. David the son of the house was very welcoming and was our guide to bring us around Semuc Champey. Had the luxury of a double bed to myself and was very comfortable and well priced. Food cooked there was delicious!! Family were so kind and helpful. Booked shuttle to Flores here too.
This a great hostel right near Semuc Champey. It is isolated and quiet. The owners were very helpful and welcoming and let me use their hotspot when I needed wifi to message friends. The beds were comfortable and I had a very relaxing time here.
Even though I feel that the price is a bit high, it was really comfortable and had everything you could need: towels, shampoo and soap, hot water. And I must say the hosts were great! I could leave my bags at the reception during the day before leaving. I had a shuttle issue and they were super helpful trying to find solutions, etc, and helped me book my shuttle for the next day and made sure I could get on this one! Great hosts! oh and they came to pick me up at the gas station where all the shuttles arrive!
Clean room and towels, very friendly host family. You can buy your meals there for a good price and fresh ingredients. Davi our host can help with tour to semuc and provide information about anything. Showers were enough and warm.
We have been travelling for 4 months and this was our favourite place we have stayed overall :) David and his family are extremely welcoming and work really hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! We had no reason to leave the homestay because Olga cooks some beautiful food (breakfast & dinner) for a really great price! We wish we could have stayed longer. We booked the Semuc Champey tour and our transport to Flores with David for a really good price. Thank you for a wonderful stay! :)
