this was by far the best accommodation i have ever been to and deserves the best rating i have ever given.
the family is so incredibly nice and tries to make your stay as good as possible. you can plan activities with them and all activities are free, whereas at other accommodations in the region you would pay a fortune. we also went to the famous sawa-i-lau caves, which was an experience.
the food is incredible. the man knows how to cook and teaches you about fijian cuisine for just 25 dollars a day per person. they also try to show you the culture of the local people, show you nearby villages, schools and churches. an absolute experience!
i can recommend this accommodation with heart and joy to everyone. it is not just an accommodation, but a unique experience that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. vinaka and thank you for the great time!
Nanuya Lailai
Sunrise Lagoon Homestay is offering accommodation in Nanuya Lailai. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area, water sports facilities and a garden. The homestay has family rooms. I had the loveliest time in Sunrise Lagoon, Lice and Joe are so accommodating they made everyone feel so welcome and really part of the family! This is a homestay so the facilities are basic but that's to be expected, the meals were all delicious with big portions, and the beach is very clean with such clear water. It is a very social place with all guests eating meals together at the same table. Lice really cares about her guests always warning to stay in the shade when the sun was strong, reminding us to put on mosquito spray and put a burning coil in the dorm room at night to help keep mosquitos out.
Naviti Island

beautiful coral reef just outside to explore around, staff were very friendly and helpfull and the activitys were fun. food was good with lots of fresh fruit and fish.

Very friendly staff and locals all joining in with guests to make you feel like your at home
It is really comfortable. You have electricity and water the whole time. We had our own big room. While staying there, there was another family as well. They offered us a lot of activities and most of them were for free or for little money. You can only pay cash. ( spear fishing, going to the cave, snorkelling, hiking, going to church, kava ceremony) The Homestay has its own beach, that’s really nice!
The property was definitely as explained in the description. It was neat and clean with a comfortable bed for a home stay, good fly screens and a most appreciated fan. The family was lovely and helpful. There was plentiful food. The best part would have to be their reef out the front. It was probably one of the best snorkelling experiences we’ve had as far as beautiful corals go in Fiji and also some unique fish. A very quiet paradise to enjoy.
Everything. The room was spacious, clean and equipped with fans. The property was lovely. Great activities on offer, don’t miss the hike up the mountain! They also offer scuba diving which we highly recommend - great diving spots and a very relaxed dive guide. We booked the full day experience and had the best bbq on the beach between our dives. The evening activities were always heaps of fun and we were invited to share kava with the locals. Price / Value was amazing.
We had the most amazing time in TAVEN homestay with Simone and Bill. From lovely food to beautiful sunsets to fishing, we enjoyed every minute. They are a wonderful family who do everything they can to make you feel welcome.
Emi Roko and Pita are lovely hosts, we felt really like part of the family! Naviti Island is perfect Point for snorkeling with big Mantas! Besides that is one of the most beautiful islands in the Yasawas. Food is delicious and the cabin just in front of the beach. Electricity is limited but was the part we appreciated more! ❤

Wayalaila Ecohaven is a resort run by locals and is definitely one of the best spots in Yasawa Islands. Saff is very friendly and will do their best for you so you feel like home. Rooms and entire resort are very tidy. Food was always freshly made and tasty. The resort also offers great activities so you will never be bored. If you want to have a great time in Fiji, you don't have to plan anything in advance. Just visit Wayalaila Ecohaven, and they will organize you the best Fijian holiday.

As a homestay on remote Fijian island this experience was everything that we could have hoped for. The prior information was clear for any traveller to know that they would be getting a truly local life experience. The host family were extremely welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Plenty of food provided at each meal.
