This was the best and by the way also the cheapest accommodation at CV. Basic but very nice and clean room with running water and electricity. WiFi was strong and very well working in the dining area, we could also catch a weaker signal in our room. There was always a plenty of food. Breakfast is included and makes a perfect start of the day. Dinner is extra, it’s cheap and really good. The staff is unbelievably helpful and can help to arrange the transportation, the guide and anything else.
São Filipe
Boasting a bar and views of sea, Cruzeiro Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in São Filipe, a few steps from Sao Filipe Beach. The property features city and quiet street views. The guest house has facilities for disabled guests. Having a room towards the sea... just great. Sunset on the balcony. View towards Brava island. Breakfast on the top terrace... nice, but rather simple (well, fresh Papaya were super!). Nice people at the reception... no word in english... but we understood each other perfectly ! Reservation and payment without any problems. They sent a taxi to the airport to pick us up.

very nice/helpful host good breakfast room with balcony and on-suite badroom quiet and beautiful views good bed (a bid small) restaurant nearby …locals…. ask Albino trip to Pico arranged by Albino was perfect. beer and soda provided in house ( payment afterwards)
We had a nice stay at Chez Albino. The accomodation is simple, but has all the necessary comforts. Our room had an oceanview and lovely sea breeze. Albino was very accomodating and very good host.
