Lovely guesthouse in a traditional house in the nice village of Namshan. Its very peaceful and quiet in that village. Very friendly owner, responsive on "Line" messaging, helped me to find buses to their guesthouse and some attractions in Kinmen.

Buses to/from main city Jincheng to the village are regular (at least one per hour) but last bus leaves Jincheng at 7.15 pm. One evening, when I was late in city, owner who has a fast food restaurant in town, gave me a lift back at 10 pm.
I had the "backpacker room" with a bunk bed. Small but cozy room, bathroom clean, good aircon.

Beautiful historic building with the spacious ornate rooms centred around a courtyard and a reception area to relax in. Only 5 minutes from the ferry port. Ken was so welcoming and helpful giving us advice on places to visit and his favourite restaurants, and the history and culture of Kinmen. Kitchen with teas and the strong local liquor available for guests to sample!

胡哥 and 傅姐 are super hosts. They made our stay in Kinmen so memorable. They have been so helpful during our stay and gave us so much information on what to do. Bottled water, fruits, peanut candies and popsicle are complimentary for guests to enjoy. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Location of the B&B is perfect. 模范街 老街 and 清金門鎮總兵署 are just in front of the B&B. Bus station where we took our day trips from is just a 3-minute walk away. There are so many delicious food options around. 玩轉金門民宿 is the place to stay for anyone visiting Kinmen.

Hostess was extremely friendly and helpful helpful with sightseeing recommendations, and she even ordered breakfast based on our preferences. She was also solicitous and very responsive to any of our requests.
The rooms are clean with brand new interiors. The bathroom is clean and spacious.
This location is ideal if you have rented a car because parking is easy, and it is away from the noise and congestion in the larger town, while still being minutes from most of the attractions of the island.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
