Awesome place to stay in Leh! The room is large, very comfortable bed (important for travellers), beautiful garden in the courtyard. The food in the restaurant is the best in town! Pizza... like in Italy! And the rest of the food is amazingly delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend only staying here if you want to visit Leh!

We had a very good stay at Raku. We stayed for a week and had a good experience throughout. The location is pretty good - a 10 min walk from the main market and close to the good eating places & cafes in the town. The surrounding area is peaceful (even though everything in Leh seems to be under construction :-). The views from the guest house (and the rooms) are simply amazing - you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance, the tall green poplar trees, and their apple & vegetable garden. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We all had good sleep throughout. The food we had was homely and consistently good. Their cook came only in the last couple of days we were there but served delicious, hot, and fresh food. We also did some work here and the WiFi internet was pretty well most of the time. The best part of our stay was the excellent service provided by Sonam, his parents, and the crew. Right from the booking to check in to the stay and checkout, everything was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an excellent value for money.
