The Carlton was clean, comfortable and the location was good.
10 minutes walk to the centre of Stratford and a car park across the road.
We had the room at the top of the house, it was a large ensuite room with a double bed which, was very comfortable.
The breakfast was delicious, there was a choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and cooked breakfast.
The host was very nice and chatty, nothing was too much trouble, would definitely recommend.

Room was excellent, in a small courtyard just outside the main building we had the continental breakfast included in the room rate, had to wait until 9.00 am for the cooked breakfast, our evening meal was very good, enjoyed the whole stay second time in a couple of weeks, will probably stay again

Well set out room with lovely matching decoration and lots of extras. Fridge, real milk, tea coffee etc, shower gel and bits and pieces. Iron, fan,hair drier. Comfy beds. Picnic breakfast chosen the night before and delivered in a box and eaten at individual tables in bedroom. Delicious. Car parking. Friendly helpful hosts. Easy for Stratford centre.

This property was exceptional. Absolutely stunning inside and out. Extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything you needed for a home away from home stay was there. The whole process was so smooth and hassle free from booking to checking in/out. Martine was an excellent and welcoming host. The only thing bad was that I did not book it for longer!
Marian and Steve are lovely people and great hosts. If they can help you with anything they will It is lovely and peaceful there except for the odd tractor now and then as it is a working farm.
We were welcomed at the gate by the lovely lady owner with two cheerful Yorkshire terriers & a resident Italian greyhound. Taken to our plush room with soft furnishings & a fantastic shower. We then met the gentleman of the property who was charming & a great host. After our evening out we were welcomed back into the house by their staff member who made us feel at home & entertained us into the early hours. This place is amazing & wholly recommended. 5 stars
Loved the location, the cottage was immaculate, and it was very relaxing sitting outside. overlooking the Hay fields. Great hosts, who left us tea, coffee, milk, and even a lovely cake. Definitely will be back next year.

Lovely host family. Excellent breakfast. Everything clean tidy and well maintained. Separate lounge available to save you sitting in your room. Pub/restaurants close by. Would definitely stay again. Hosts couldn't do enough for you. Good centre for gardens, country houses, attractions etc. Stratford 10 mins way. Slightly out of the way but good road network. Hence nice and quiet and relaxing
