Fabulous place from 1450. So well decorated, warm and inviting. I had a long chat with a most charming woman(58) (did not get her name) in the reception. A former teacher. It is nice when staff takes the time to talk with you about the hotel and other things. It made my stay perfect! Just book this place!

Bill was an exceptional host. Although the rooms are up stairs he was there to carry the bags up. Very helpful with a map and a hot drink of you choice after arrival, to explain the town, restaurants etc. A wonderful cooked breakfast next morning.. Very happy.

The hosts Andrew and Ana were most welcoming and friendly. I had a query the day before and Ana was very helpful when I called. The location is lovely and beautifully quiet. I had the best night sleep as the bed was exceptionally comfy. The bedroom was beautifully decorated with tea and coffee making available, a mini bar with complementary water and a little chocolate as a treat.
