First and foremost Richard you can't get a more helpful, fun host. The location is really perfect as was our room. Richard, Harley and the house made us feel right at our own home. This was our first B&B experience and it was so good I hope it didn't ruin it for those to follow.

    Lovely rural place to stay - beautiful gardens in front of unit - very clean and everything we needed for a very comfy stay. No breakfast but not a problem as there’s a lovely place down the road within walking distance. Lovely hosts - we highly recommend!

    Breakfast good they will cook gluten free sausages as long as you give them time they have gf toast and cereals. Swimming pool nice size and temperature and they provide towels Steam room and sauna as well facilities also used by friendly locals but not busy. Good car park next to hotel. They showed my astronomer husband where their astronomy dome was which made his day!

    Fantastic stay at the Black Bull. All staff exceptionally friendly and professional. Rooms lovely, clean and spacious. Beautiful breakfast and enjoyed fantastic meal in restaurant. Love the location. Staff and locals very friendly and make you feel so welcome. Can't recommend the Black Bull highly enough, fantastic place to stay.

    - fantastic views, lovely location in nature - great location for hiking, walking, switching off - surprisingly comfortable and spacious for a caravan - lovely host that is as involved as guests prefer - option to bbq - heating available - bedroom caravan has lovely decor - local farm eggs were a treat! - no reception/WiFi was a plus for us
