    The location was great. Lovely 40 minute walk to the Falkirk wheel along the canal. Stopped at a lovely pub (Lock 16) on the way back. Easy stroll into town. Great pubs for a drink and chat to friendly locals. Too far to walk again the same day to the Kelpies which was in the other direction but could get a bus if you wanted. Got a taxi to and from Falkirk high train station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual buffet style and was as expected.

    Everything! Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome, and they made a fuss of our chatty dog as well! Very quiet location for a light sleepers, adjacent field to take your dog out as well.

    Loved the house,it has real character, especially our rooms. Lady Jane and Westelea were great hosts, the food was delicious and our dietary requirements were well catered for. Highly recommended.
