Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Duncan is a great host and recommended a fine pub for food and drinks. Our room was spotless and pretty comfortable, breakfast was excellent. No on site parking but there are spaces in the local vicinity where you can park for free between 6pm and 9am. If we're ever in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Breakfasts were excellent and the smaller version was just right for me. The view from the dinning room window was wonderful .
Lisa and Colin were such lovely hosts and looked after me so well, nothing was too much trouble. Would stay with them again.
Great host, Lovely room, with good free Wifi and TV channels. Easy walk to town centre and places to eat. Enjoyed the tea/coffee facility plus biscuits in the room. Excellent choices for breakfast
Stunning views from the room and also from the jacuzzi. Room is very large and comes with a lot of food (porridge, bread, jam, pastries, juice, etc). Lovely host. Simply amazing. We will definitely come back next year!
