Oamaru Bay Beachfront Tourist Park is a 10-minute drive from Coromandel and a 45-minute drive from Whitianga. Absolutely beautiful views. Host was incredibly accommodating and helpful.

This beachfront holiday park features a children’s play area, a hot tub, a games room, a convenience store and an internet kiosk. All accommodation includes a kitchenette, air conditioning and a TV with DVD player. We had a wonderful stay and we were upgraded to the delux cabins which was an added bonus. The camp ground was family friendly, great location beside the beach and walks, and had great facilities. The kids liked the bouncing pillow and go carts!

The nearest airport is Whitianga Airport, 63 km from the holiday park. The owners were super friendly, extremely welcoming. The pools, bbq area, hot pools were also great.

Set in Coromandel Town, Shelly Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park offers beachfront accommodation 3 km from Driving Creek Railway and Potteries and offers various facilities, such as a private beach area, water sports facilities and an outdoor swimming pool. The property features pool and garden views. There is a children's playground and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Was our favourite holiday park we stayed at on our 2 week trip in New Zealand. Amazing pool, amazing location, beautiful sunset. Clean showers, great kitchen, cold clean filter water system.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way).

Not all accommodation has a lounge area, sofa, TV. Fantastic trip. Access to the beach and the hiking trails couldn’t be better, only steps away.

Located opposite Estuary Beach, Harbourside Holiday Park offers an outdoor seasonal swimming pool, a children's playground and a BBQ area with picnic tables. It is 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Whitianga. Location, room was spacious for two, clean all round

Tasman Holiday Parks – Beachaven is a friendly holiday park set on four acres right by Waihi Beach. Explore the 9km long stretch of white sands, stunning views, great surf and fishing.

When you’re ready for action, put on your hiking shoes or bike helmet and hit the fabulous walking and cycling trails, with stops along the way at heritage parks, swimming spots and cafes serving scrumptious local produce. We loved our stay even though it was a quick one. Great accommodation and facilities.
