This is a gem of a property, tucked away in a gated courtyard in the centre of Lecco, just a few minutes walk from the station, the lake, the shops and supermarket, and all the restaurants. Alberto and Paola are kind, thoughtful and generous hosts who have carefully considered everything you could possibly need, including umbrellas and wet weather ponchos, games and children's colouring books. Open all the drawers and cupboards on arrival, and you will be amazed at all the extras which have been provided! Thank you Alberto and Paola for creating such a lovely place to stay. You can eat in the garden as well in warmer weather.

This 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Certain units at the property have a terrace with a mountain view. I cannot rave enough about how fabulous our stay was. The house, room and facilities are beautiful, perfectly maintained and just like the photos. The team that work at the villa cannot do enough to make your stay relaxing and comfortable - they are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast each day was fresh, and bountiful and with the perfect place to sit looking over the pool. And a short walk into Como - about 10 mins to town and 15 mins back (as it is uphill) - you do need to have moderate fitness to do the walk and there is not many cabs available. We have been travelling for some time and this was by far the best stay so far.

The host was so nice and helpful. the property is a cozy house with a small pool, which my son loves. The view of the rest area was great where the lake meets with mountains.
