Location for Alton towers was excellent. The studio was cosy, but ample space for a family of four. All the basic kitchen items were available which made it easy to make simple meals.
Great communication from the host leading up to us arriving - we arrived in the evening, and they accommodated that late arrival.

We spent the weekend here with a 6 year old 2 year old. The children wanted to move into the carriage for good. It was a fantastic experience and we got so close to the cows each morning.
This carriage was a 20 minute drive from Alton Towers. Jayne the host provided all info by text message and shared contact details if needed. Although not iscolated we felt we had privacy and wasn’t on someone else’s land as such. We felt comfortable in the carriage. It was chilly outside all weekend but the carriage was toasty and warm.
Everything was provided including towels and fresh milk. There is a restaurant 5 min walk one direction and another pub/food place 5 min walk in the other direction. We liked this as we could leave the car at the farm and walk to dinner as we aren’t confident country road drivers especially at night.
Please book this as a couple break or for an experience with younger children. A really bespoke experience. The views from the carriage of lane and country side was out of this world.

Lovely quaint cottage. Lovely location and setting. Everything you needed and even little extras. Crossaints were a lovely gesture and greatly received. Also, the milk. Everything had been thought about. Gorgeous place. Even the pumpkin outside was just a lovely beginning to what a beautiful place awaited us. Just wish it wasn't such a flying visit we had.

Everything! Spacious, warm, and beautiful house that had absolutely everything needed for a family stay. Also literally 10 minutes to Alton Towers could not fault a thing x
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Tollgate House - Luxury Cozy Cottage - HUGE Hot Tub - Alton Towers offers accommodation with a spa and wellness centre and free WiFi.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The property was in a lovely scenic location. It was light and airy. It was very clean and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The food and service was excellent.
Not far from Alton Towers Theme Park, very clean room and bathroom with white towels and clean white bedding, great little bar and wonderful food with very fast service.

Stayed here for 2 nights as visited Alton towers. The hotel was lovely / very clean, it was also on nice grounds which would have been perfect for lovely walks.

Was very spacious however we could hear people above us from time to time and our bed was abit hard !
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and included within our stay (vegetarian option available).
Alton towers was a 10min drive from hotel which was very handy.
All in all I would recommend hotel.
Beautiful decor, very clean, large bedroom, plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. Bed seemed new as it was a firm mattress. Lovely breakfast, and very quick service. Evening meals were very good, but large portions so 2 courses were too much!
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The hotel is fantastic..The room was perfect, very clean, very modern, nice and quiet. We felt very comfortable there. The staff couldn't have been friendly to our very chatty little boy. They even put birthday balloons in our room.
The food was of extremely high quality at a reasonable price and the included breakfast was delicious and we were never made to feel rushed.
Just 10-15minutes to Alton towers.
We will definitely return and would recommend to friends.
