Gorgeous mountain views from the living room and bedroom. Only 30 minutes from Lucerne to the east and Interlaken to the west. Very quiet little village of Brunig is great to come home to after visiting the city. 2 restaurants within 1/4 mile walk. A great bakery just a 10 minute drive away. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. There were all kinds of maps about the region in the house. There was even a stocked bar, a washing machine and fondue/raclette set which we didn’t use, but was available. A hiking trail goes from the house into the neighboring villages through breathtaking meadows.

Charming older home. Well stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer! It was very comfortable and my kids loved the board games provided. It’s in a great location so you have wonderful views of country life in the Alps but Interlaken and other places are just a short, beautiful 30 min drive away. We would definitely stay again!

The wonderful host only allowed us to stay one night even though they accommodate a minimum of three nights. Everything went wonderfully and quickly. The place is just great and the surroundings are fantastic. We had a great time and will definitely be back when we are in the area. The equipment was new, clean, we lacked nothing.
