At The 1890 Freeman House every room is fitted with bed linen and towels. Excellent stay with excellent location located at the city center, extremely clean & comfortable. Before arrival we received an email from Shannon that made our trip more interesting with her advice & tips about the city, supermarket, shops, restaurants bars are within walking distance. Would recommend The 1890 Freeman House to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Shannon for going just that little step extra for the guests!!!

Everything was basically new or recently renovated. The staff efficient, the rooms spotless and the breakfast good. Location was fine for exploring the island and parking good. Excellent value for money.

It was convenient, quiet, very clean, nicely appointed (with new appliances) and easy to walk from and park at. There are some great cafe's nearby including the Sunflower, Mosquito and others. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood with some older home in it. The water was close enough to walk to. The host readily responded when contacted several times. Air conditioning worked well, though we mostly turned it off and had the windows open as it was a nice time of year. Clean Towels amply provided.
The house and room were beautifully decorated/fitted. Nice quiet neighbourhood with some places for food and coffee nearby. Coffee and a few bottles of water were provided for free. Transfers to and from airport were available at about the same rate as an uber. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and quick to respond to enquiries and offer suggestions of things around the area to do during my stay.. There were other shared areas that were free to use however I did not, more because I was only there for a short time..
The location is perfect. Nice neighborhood. Right around the corner from Pleasure Pier. Restaurants and Chic Fila are within walking distance. We used Uber to get around. Super cheap. Our host gave us a bottle of wine, chocolate and waters. House instructions were very easy. He was awesome and we felt very welcomed.
Loved the breakfast. Davis was a great host at breakfast. The view of the pool from the breakfast area was nice. The breakfast was full at all times even though we showed up 30 minutes before the end of breakfast hours.
1. The lobby is elegant and refined. The staff at the desk is pretty nice. 2. The room is quiet and comfortable. 3. Great location! Very close to Metro stations.
What a gem this place is! Excellent, quiet, safe location. Great hosts. Huge comfortable space. It is a great pity I was getting up and leaving early and missed the chance to enjoy the breakfast. Will definitely stay again.
