They picked us up at the port by motorbike, very nice trip around the island. The room has its own bathroom and toilet with hot water and they provide a heater for the night so we were not cold at all. They prepared lunch (quinoa soup and trout with rice and vegetables), diner (chicken with rice and vegetables) and breakfast (fried egg and pancakes) for 20 soles extra per meal per person which is extremely fair given that these were one of the best meals we had during our trip, home made by Sonia with fresh organic products.

All units feature a wardrobe. I was warmly greeted on arrival by the kind lady at reception and shown to my room. The room was much larger than expected, very clean and really good value for money. I had an early boat trip booked for the next morning and they offered to prepare breakfast earlier for me. It’s the little things like this that really go along way when you are travelling. The property is a short walk away from the lake and the main square so perfect location to see/do everything you need to while in Puno.

The hosts were incredibly helpful, always smiling and made us feel like home. They bought coca leaves for us because we had mountain sickness and gave us an entire bag for free. They also allowed us to leave our bags on the last day until the evening so that we could enjoy our tour. We felt very blessed to be welcomed in the inn and we would definitely come back.
