Cafe/Restaurant downstairs with very yummy food. Be mindful, that getting to/from the city center at night is tricky and you might have to walk through the tunnel. But during the day there is a bus running. Still definitly worth staying there!

But most of all it is the hosts who make the difference: Emi and Sok and their family really made us feel welcome and looked after.

The host was so hospitable and staying there felt like you were staying in someone’s home rather than a business transaction. We had a lovely home cooked breakfast and the host even took the trouble to pack my daughter’s half finished toast.. And oh yes! The piping hot bath for soaking was another delightful experience for a unique local experience.

I also recommend eating Keihan as a breakfast there, it's a delicious local dish. When I return to Amami, I will definitely stay here again ♥️

The units at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a desk. The location was incredibly good, core downtown, close to everything I needed.
