The rooms were also spacious with AC/heater, and a pretty comfy bed. The owner was also extremely friendly and prepared for us some amazing meals.

This is a countryside stay, recommended for those who want to a true local experience.

This house is several centuries old. It has been in the family for generations. It is a work of art inside and out. It’s amazing to stay in a place this historic.

The ryokan is owned by a hospitable couple that speaks English perfectly, of which one is a former photographer and the other is a former chef. The latter can be enjoyed to the fullest as they offer dinner and breakfast. I enjoyed the food so much, that I dare say it is one of the best meals I’ve had in Japan. They use ingredients from their own field in the backyard, which made them fresh and with a lot of flavor. The countryside is also the view for most of the rooms with big windows to enjoy the morning sun. They were also flexible and made me breakfast even though I had to leave really early. I think it is clear that I recommend this ryokan and would love to come back.

It's cozy and it feels like home. There're 2 options of shower/bathing, in room and the shared one. Breakfast was amazing. Everything was delicious that we wanted more.
