At first, I was hesitant to book because I saw a previous review that the wifi was slow but since then the host Zakki has upgraded his line and I had no problems whatsoever doing a zoom work call - the line was probably better than in my home! I loved my little bungalow, it is so cute and comfortable and host Zakki was amazing. He helped me arrange a private driver from the airport to Bangsal Harbour, gave information on how to get to Gili Air and what to do around the island. He really cares about his guests and looks after them so well, I feel like we’ve become friends. The staff here are lovely too, and the bunnies are so cute. The place feels so peaceful, quiet, cosy and homely and I truly enjoyed my stay here.

Very kind and helpful hosts (offered laundry service, organised bikes to rent for us)! Room is very clean, location central (turtle point, sunset side, mainroad) but quiet. We loved to stay at Rumah Cahaya and would come back directly!

This pet-friendly property features air-conditioned rooms with private bathroom. Free private parking is available at this property. Very nice big room with a personality in a beautiful garden. Owners very nice and helpful. They gave me a lot of useful information and they can organize everything you need for your trip in amd around Gili. I felt safe as a solo female traveler.

Absolutely gorgeous, very well equipped house with traditional wood carved walls, a private kitchen, bathroom, garden, and terrace - probably my favorite stay ever. The host was incredibly welcoming and sweet, had decorated the whole house with flowers for our arrival, prepared a tray with coffee and tea that we could make ourselves in the morning, and even arranged a driver to the harbor for us. 30 seconds walk to one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen, completely isolated from tourists and with a cute little beach cafe for breakfast.
