Nothing super fancy, but just what we were looking for. Great value for money

Room spotlessly clean. Beautiful breakfast with home grown fruit and jams. George, Rena and Lola were very welcoming and gave excellent advice for places to eat and sights to see in Ios.

The simply furnished rooms at the Avra Pension have panoramic views over the Aegean Sea from their private balcony. They are air-conditioned and include an LCD TV and a fridge. Slippers and a hairdryer can be found in the private bathroom. The location was perfect. It is well connected to public transportation and the local beach is only a few minutes away. Breakfast was amazing! Excellent foods

Markos village is located in Ios Town, in the heart of nightlife and 5 minutes by bus to Mylopotas beach and port. It is traditionally built and offers panoramic views of the scenic town. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar next to the swimming pool. Markos was absolutely Lovley- he picked us up from the port and dropped us back, he also gave us tips on where to go and eat! The location is unbeatable, the view was another highlight which we got to enjoy with A large balcony.

More importantly Ilias is an absolute LEGEND!! He was attentive and even picked us up and dropped us off at the port. He also provided his local knowledge of the island which was absolutely essential given it was our first time visiting IOS. Trust you're in good hands if you stay here!

The location was very accesible from the port, near the Gialos beach and the bus station, so you could easily move around the island. The room was fully equipped with all necessities while still holding a traditional and homely feeling. But most of all, we fell for our hosts, whom were so thoughtful and welcoming!
