Niall was an exceptional host, friendly and helpful. You can also park right in front of the property and there is a bus stop nearby.

This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The guest house has family rooms. Location was fabulous! The included breakfast was well-stocked and had fresh coffee. There’s a spot for guests to refrigerate food. We got takeaway a few times for meals. We could eat our takeaway in the dining area, which was nice. For a small fee they took care of our laundry. This was really nice after traveling for a few days. We had a later flight on our checkout day. They let us store our luggage in the room until later.

Excellent hostellissa, great location and breakfast 👌
A charming house by the sea, conveniently positioned in the middle of the island. A short drive to both ports, basically a short drive to every destination on the island. The room was comfortable,the bathroom spacious and clean, the breakfast was magnificent. The host was wonderful and helped us with dinner bookings that are hard to get by and gave us great advise for our day trips.
The hostel is small and was relatively quiet as we were there just at the start of the season. Lorna and her husband are very helpful and kinda. The hostel is located directly on the waterfront in port Charlotte, which has a nice pub and a few restaurants. Our room was very comfortable and the shared bathrooms and showers are kept very tidy. We had a great stay!
Nice clean room. Comfortable bed. Really good to have a large shower, nice to feel tha there is plenty of space. WiFi was fast too. Quiet too. No faults, loved the place Host was communicated well with me and helpful when checking out.
This is a delightful guesthouse on Islay. Fiona, our host, was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The rooms are extremely comfortable and cosy. We would definitely book there the next time we go to Islay!

Great location short walk to the ferry as a foot passenger it was easy to reach. No hot breakfast but the continental was brilliant, cereal , toast , yogurt , fresh fruit, pots of tea or coffee. As a single female I felt safe. The staff were helpful and friendly
To start the location is off the beaten track which makes it exceptionally quiet, The host Thomas was first class absolutely nothing was to much trouble, I suppose the stay is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I think if you stay once you will want to go back. the Breakfast is as good if not better than a five star hotel, wonderful.
The stay was so wonderful, we had an amazing time at Skerrols. Tomas was a great host, so welcoming and friendly and make a point of speaking kindly to my children so they felt at home. We loved the lounge area for the guests, the free drinks, chess area and being made to feel so welcome. The breakfast was the best we have ever had in a B and B, fresh fruits of all sorts and an amazing cooked option.
Great location right opposite the beach. Walking distance to wee shops/cafe/pub. Really spacious room and comfortable beds. Niall was a great host - thank you so much!
