Nothing was open in this hibernating village and we were super hungry after a long cycling day so the owner brought us a wonderful evening snack from his own fridge - which turned out to be a delicious homemade meal.

They had family friendly suggestions for local châteaux and beaches. Our family of 5 had plenty of space to spread out with all the amenities we needed. They also have a pool, trampoline, Foosball and ping-pong table to use at our leisure. Truly a wonderful place to stay if you wish to explore the Medoc wine region.
