Eddy, the host, made our stay perfect. He arranged a diner outside specially for us and made the most amazing Italian coffee when we woke up. He even brought us up the hill so we could catch the bus to Funchal. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Location with car is ok (island anyway is small;) - if w/o car check how to get (did not notice supermarkets near). Quiet! as inside so outside. Good, soundproof and large rooms (new and modern). P.s. Selection of tea in the room could be wider + update them when see guests drinks it ;)

Basically every aspect of the accommodation is thoroughly refined. The host, Sérgio, meets you personally, gives some useful tips and how-to's on Madeira. We were welcomed with the local surprising iteration of banana. Sérgio speaks very good English and seems highly motivated to help his guests. Moreover, there are a lot of utilities in the apartment, which make life much more enjoyable. I never tried sticks for walking, but, as Sérgio gave the opportunity, I was shocked how easier the hikes are. The apartment feels absolutely new, the kitchen has all you could wish for, the bathroom is gigantic. 10/10
