This was the nicest accommodation we have ever stayed in, the property is beautiful and provides everything you might need even for a longer stay. It is comfortable, spacious and very well kept. The view and the terrace make the stay unforgettable. The location is also very convenient, quiet and away from the noise of the street while still being very close to the beach and the city centre. Additionally, the host was very kind and helpful. Thank you Joana!

The location of the hotel is good. It sits right on the beach but is a good 20 minute walk from the city centre. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Due to an unexpected turn in the weather, we were advised that our return ferry to Funchal, the following day, was cancelled. So we made the decision to leave that day and so in fact, did not stay in the hotel overnight. Our impressions were, that it was very good value for money. It is not luxurious, by any means but was clean, bright and cheap!

Amazing place, felt like home. Well equipped - theres all you need. Extra blankets, hairdryer, all needed supplies in the kitchen. Great location - near ferry and at the City Center. Big grocery store 2 minutes away. Amazing host - replies with a couple of minutes. Also at the day we left there was no reservation so we were able to check out at 4 p.m.! I absolutely recommend this place for everyone.

Definitely one of the most beautiful appartments we ever stayed at - large, quiet, nicely equipped and with an unbeatable sea view from 2 balconies. Private parking lot just in front of the house which was great for the scooter we rented, and a 10 minutes walk to the centre. Joana was a great host and always available via WhatsApp.

Incredible location. 50m from main square with Christopher Columbus House & church; 300m from the pier & beach. Central but still pretty quiet. Well equipped. Great shower. Airy. Sea view from all windows. Balcony has sun in afternoon. Felt secure on 1st floor with key entry to complex. Great communication with host.

Precious and romantic location, really close to everything important as beach, restaurants, city center. Hosts are very friendly, trying to explain everything already before you arrive. We stayed with our two kids and they also loved the place and especially the near walk to the beach. Inside the house there is everything (and even more) you need for a comfortable stay.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, very quiet location with an incredible vista of the island. South facing with one of the best sunrises you’ll see, the light pre dawn was a pure delight. Brilliant communication from host, flexible on timings. Don’t think about renting this place, just do it. Will I come again, yes.

a nice compound a bit far off, but liked the quiet place and it was a great location for walks along the beach and the bus stop was close, if you want to go to town.

the location is in the other side of the island, isolated and quiet. it’s so much better than the town centre to fully appreciate the island. the owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. the guest house is new, clean and has an excellent kitchen to be used. there is nothing I’d complain about. It’s highly recommended.
