We had a lovely few days at the Post Office Cottage. Cozy, comfortable and well provisioned, it was a great base for exploring New Plymouth & Taranaki. Also well setup for our 4 year old daughter. Thanks for having us!!

Our host Svala was so kind and lovely to chat with. We had everything we needed and we loved how cozy and tucked away this spot was. I would love to come back here when I have more time so that I could make more use of the many wonderful amenities provided at this property. Highly recommend!!

The location was perfect, loved being tucked away out of town & the hosts made us feel really welcome. Loved being able to pat the sheep & have the chooks around us, nice special touch having farm fresh eggs & bacon for breakfast. Super clean & a very comfy bed. Very thoughtful of the hosts to provide extra towels after having been caught out in the rain for the afternoon after exploring the area.

Super quiet location behind owners home.We never saw or heard them but they were there if we needed anything.Walk down property road a bit and you can see Mt Taranaki, if not under cloud. We self catered- oven, gas hot plates, microwave,good size fridge and washing machine. 14 km to New Plymouth. Great for hikers as close to road up to North Mt Egmont Visitors Centre.
The cottage had everything you need, like a little home away from home. Loved that the host Charlotte had left fresh eggs, bacon, bread and cereals for breakfast, is a lovely touch.
Very quaint cottage nestled in a lovely lawn with trees and chickens wandering. Location is great as a base to explore the area. Hosts very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great view of Mt Taranaki through the trees and an awesome cafe about 2 minutes walk away.
