The staff were incredibly helpful, we did a northern lights tour with Vas and also a tour of the fjords. Couldn’t recommend both any more. Excellent location straight across the road from a bus stop for the airport or into town. A grocery store only a few hundred metres away.

I really loved it! The place was clean and very comfortable. But most of all the owner was truly great! He helped us to find a good place to eat and gave us many good recommendations. We organized with him a northern lights search and even thought we didn’t have much luck and couldn’t find it in the end because the sky was very cloudy during our stay, we knew he did whatever he possibly could to find a clearing as we traveled a lot to many places. And even after checking out when he saw there is possibility to see northern lights he still called us to tell us it should be visible soon (and we saw it!!). Thank you again!

This was a wonderful experience! The accomodation has a great location, and you can enjoy your coffee with a great view of the mountains and the sea. It is close to the airport, and has good bus connection for the city center. It is very safe, which is important if you travel alone. The room was clean and cosy, and the bed was comfortable. The common areas are well equipped if you wish to cook or just hang out. The hosts are very friendly, it kind of feels like visiting old friends. Don't be shy to ask Stavros for some tips on where to eat, what to visit in the area or how to make a nice risotto. I also joined the tours organized by the host for the northen lights and raindeers. The northern lights tours were amazing, and felt like a personalized experience. We had nice warm tea and hot chocolate, and we found private spots, were we could admire the aurora away from the city or other tourists, and we had a photo session included as well. I liked that they put a lot of thought and passion when organizing these tours, making sure to choose the night with the highest chances to see the aurora. I recommend the raindeers sight seeing tour as well. The landscapes are amazing, and the raindeers are beautiful as well. Overall it was a great experience for a trip I've been wanting to go for more than 10 years. Thank you so much Stavros, Katia and Vasilis for everthing! Until next time!

I really liked the board in the living room where was a map and tips where to go and what to visit.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The host was very welcoming, and chatty which made us feel at home. He took us out to try to see the aurora, which wasn't very successful due to low cloud and snow.. But he updated us each day on our chances, and we finally got to see a great display. He also recommended places to eat and which excursions were good value. We will definitely stay there if we go back to Tromso.

We really enjoyed out stay here. Stavros was very accommodating and informative. We went on his Northern Lights tour, and he made sure we went on a night that we could actually see the lights, instead of taking us out on a cloudy night, which we really appreciated. He made sure we got our moneys worth. and helped us take photos. Overall the room was very warm, and the kitchen has everything you need, no complaints! We even saw some reindeer in the backyard, which Stavros said hang around the area.

Located in a quiet residential area and near to the city center, about 5-7 minutes by taxi. The apartment is clean and well equipped with all amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Beds are comfortable and hot water shower, washing machine and dryer all work well. A big supermarket is just across the road outside the house. The host is meticulous in providing comprehensive instructions on the house.

Very nice location. 7 mins drive from the airport and the centre. City centre is 15 mins away on foot. Mats was a great host. The place is warm and cosy. Full marks for cleanliness and facilities. Kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary items. Can view the whole of Tromsø from the upper deck / living room. We spent hours on the upper deck seeing the show of weather and lights. Mats was very helpful and accessible all throughout. We highly recommend Mats place and would love to come back whenever we’re in Tromsø next.
