We enjoyed the classical japanese room. The host was very friendly and helpful. Yabukiso is around 9 minutes from the closest bus station. From certain areas you can see Mt. Fuji from the house. We used the public bath from the house , rented a bike and had an overall nice experience near lake Yamanaka.

The host Marie is absolutely fabulous and most helpful. She picked me up at the bus station and offered to bring me back. Guests can use bikes to get around. The room is spacious with good AC. I loved the traditional bathroom and the Japanese breakfast she offers for 1,000 Yen. Very peaceful and quiet place. Highly recommended!

This property is very underrated. I think they renovated the woman toilet and shower ? It looks really clean and new. There’s one toilet and two shower which I think is enough for all the travelers as it is not a big hotel. Room is clean and giving nostalgic vibe and the view is spectacular.
