Italy
The hotel is very nice, located under a very characteristic mountain and has a large parking lot in front. It is 5 minutes walk from the sea, it is close to the center with supermarkets and taverns to eat nearby. The room is spotless, it looks new; the bed is very comfortable (we slept wonderfully), the bathroom is spacious and functional, there are even mosquito nets on the windows (which is not a given, unfortunately)! The host Maria is extremely kind and helpful: at 11 in the evening we had a problem with the fridge but she immediately intervened to solve it. If you want to go to Matala (and it's worth it!) this is the ideal place!
Pitsidia (Near Matala)
Located in Pitsidia village, in a flower garden, Pension Aretoussa is 1.5 km from Kommos Beach. It offers a homemade breakfast and air-conditioned rooms with views to the village or garden.
Breakfast is served daily in the veranda and includes fruit salads and omelets. Guests can watch satellite TV in Aretoussa Pension’s lounge while enjoying a glass of raki made by the owners. Common areas have books, magazines and games such as backgammon that guests are free to use.

Our Stay at Jodi was one of the best ever! Jodi is a wonderful and warm-hearted host! We felt so comfortable at her place. The is room was nice and cosy. We really had everything we needed. It was very clean and Jodi took great care of her guests. And her garden and flowers are indescribably beautiful. We will definitely come back soon :) Thanks for everything dear Jodi!

Beautiful horizon view from the hill. Every morning I woke up with the sea view and every evening I ended the day with the view of the sunset. Marina was very kind, very available and flexible

Dedicated parking inside the property, the studio reflects the pictures and is very cosy. Water and fruit in the fridge are a definitive plus. Coffee and tea facilities. A small kitchen is available, but we didn't use is as we were surrounded by great restaurants only few steps away. Mike and Olimpia are perfect hosts, giving you tips on what to see on a printed sheet. Perfect German organization! :) The place is quite, surrounded by plants, flowers and orange trees. Waking up with the smell of Frangipani and Jasmine from the balcony is priceless!
Kalamaki (Near Matala)
