My favourite part was the beautiful garden full of lovely trees, plants and birdsong as well as the pool which was a great way to cool off. I also loved my room which was spacious, very comfortable and came with fridge, en suite shower and A/C. The hotel staff were fantastic, always ready to help, friendly and relaxed and at the same time very professional with plenty of tips on local places to visit. Great food too, such as butter fish and spicy chicken and recommend the delicious Gambian juice called Wonjo. I had a wonderful week at Hibiscus House - very much hope to go back some time.

I loved the peaceful environment, the gras, flowers and birds. The host is very lovely and treats you like family. I also enjoyed the fresh wind that comes through your window at night time I havent experienced quiet and cool nights like this in any other accomodations in Gambia. Also very nice that everything is solar powered, the regular national powercuts dont affect you at all. I recommend this!

Just what I needed, a great place to stay. The lady (apologise I forget her name) taking care of the guest house couldn't be more helpful. She helped me with everything which including cooking food and room service.Nothing was to much trouble for her. A beautiful person.

The property looks very nice and the staff members are friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the fan made sleeping easier during hot nights. The property is located a bit away from the beach and the tourist area but I did not mind that. It was quiet and you have some cheap local restaurants around.
The location of this property was excellent. It was within easy walking distance of the beach and many bars, but the area surrounding the property was quiet and secluded. The hosts of the property were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The guesthouse is leaded by a friendly and helpful family. The staff is really wonderful. The place is very central. It is situated at a good quarter of town and you can reach the beach in 10 minutes by walk. Also there a restaurants, shops and local transport easy to get. The guesthouse itself is in a quiet and beautiful garden and yard. Everything is very clean and amazing. If you want the boss lady cooks you a wonderful meal.
Pete the host was amazing and the room was exceptional clean. The location is quiet but close to the centre, will definitely be returning on my next trip.
