Lovely place with the perfect host Celine. Very nice and clean room with comfy bed. The garden is an oasis to lounge in, with many different types of birds. Perfect base to explore the Seloum delta. The food is great, specifically dinner! Easy to arrange excursions from the hotel.

La Kora is a good pension. The manager is always smiling and helpful. The place is clean. There is plenty of plants in the garden, which is a big plus (many households and gardens in Senegal have no green plants, hard to say why). A small gym in the garden, that's also great. Breakfast is quite okay, if you are used to Senegalese standard (in Senegal you won't get real coffee, and the "european" breakfast is a lot of sugar). Great accommodation, spacious and clean rooms. The pool is awesome and photos are realistic. The hosts were really friendly and provided great advice on what to do and where to eat in the area.

Celine and Giles were charming hosts, genuinely engaged in the local community with a deep respect for the people they work with and the environment. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and the trips we did. The food was delicious, and the fact we all sat around the same table for breakfast and dinner made it very sociable. The garden is beautiful, with no need to go very far for birdwatching. We have such fond memories of our stay

The hotel is beautiful, very clean and very quiet. Amazing place to relax. The breakfast was really good and we loved the omelette. Great cocktails in the bar.

Great location in a very peaceful area. What I liked best was the breakfast served in front of the room and the homemade baguette. They do serve dinner as well, the food is really delicious.

We liked it so much, that we stayed longer than acutally planed. The hosts are wonderful people, we felt so welcome! Also they were very helpful to find where we could get some good food in the village and what to do besides the near Fathala Wildlife Reserve. The rooms were clean and nice (with a well filled minibar) as well as the Pool. Last but not least: the breakfast was amazing! Lost of fresh fruit, Baguette, Croissants, etc.

Great guesthouse/B&B in Toubacouta in a very peaceful and quiet village. Rooms are totally comfortable and nicely designed, and the meal that I ate here was excellent. I only stayed two nights, but would have been happy to stay on an another to take a tour through the mangroves. The owners Celine and Gilles were very friendly and it was great to speak with them over dinner. They also offered some recommendations for future stops on my trip, since I had done almost no planning before coming to Senegal.

We wanted a cheap base for exploring (what we thought was) a hub for tourism in this part of Senegal. The guest house is on the outskirts of a very small village, with little to do. There are two larger hotels, which offer some activities and tours, but we simply payed for a bed to sleep in, and got nothing more.
