Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. The hotel offers individually decorated rooms with driftwood furniture, fur rugs and free WiFi. If you are going to stay in Longyearbyen this is the only hotel to stay in. Great atmosphere and so comfortable. Excellent breakfast and good service from the hotel. I first stayed here 17 years ago and I am still visiting.

Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Svalbard Hotell Polfareren offers 24-hour reception, free WiFi internet access, a terrace and modern rooms with flat-screen TVs. A tour desk, snowmobile safaris and dog sledding are offered on site. Everything was wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is warm, cozy, and rustique. Great room. Comfy bed, bathtub, great coffee in the room. Clean everywhere. Great food in the restaurant. Highly recommended!
Barentsburg
Hotel Barentsburg is on the Svalbard island of Spitsbergen. Overlooking the Isfjord, it offers a restaurant and bar. A flat-screen TV and private bathroom are standard room features.
All rooms at Barentsburg Hotel have a desk, and some also include a sofa. Bathrooms come with a shower and slippers. You can enjoy sea and mountain views.

Clean, cosy and warm room. Tasty breakfast. Free coffee and tea. Many bathrooms - despite they are shared, the were always available. Also, the location is quite remote - to the city center is 2km.
The common living room is very very cozy and nice to sit in! I really liked the breakfast: it is tasty and served in the ‘greenhouse-room’ which is pretty Good location Price quality is good Clean
Room and bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed free tea and cocoa. Overall the atmosphere is very cosy. The location is also very good - we could enjoy an amazing view while walking to the city center.

Very nice accommodarion, Elena was very kind and helpful, there were always some delicious snacks prepared. Good location, close to the city centre, between mountains. We were super happy with this place and can strongly recommend!
Good location. Located in the city centre, close to the main road, but quiet all day. The staffs were very helpful. Nice to see lovely welcome chocolates with polar bear shape when first entered the room.

Everything was perfect!! Well equipped rooms/kitchen/services, lovely and cozy common areas and of course super helpful and nice staff! I loved everything about my stay, location is great not so far from the city center. Definitely would love to come back again. Stay safe guys and thanks for everything :)
This hotel is characterful and well designed. The interior is largely build from drift wood and the rooms are in the style of trapper cabins. It is a super cosy place to stay and has all the modern amenities one would expect. The location in town is super central. It is right next door to the liveliest bar/restaurant. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and varied. The staff were very friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed atmosphere. What’s not to like? We had a great time staying at Basecamp.
