We really enjoyed our stay at Ravelston House. We chose to stay here as we thought it was more reasonable in terms of quality and price than staying in Edinburgh. The staff were friendly and helpful and we couldn't rate the food in the restaurant more highly! We had our first experience with haggis - trying haggis bonbons and also the Balmoral Chicken. They were delicious! The room decor was modern with a Scottish tartan wool theme.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. The views from the rooms are astounding- such a serene feeling. The hotel has retained some of the old world charm, while modernising few aspects. The staff was warm and friendly, and the breakfast was good. loved the bar and the cocktails.
