We offer comfortable rooms and include a continental breakfast, served in a basket, delivered to your room each morning. Please note that we no longer have a dining room for cooked breakfasts.

The best place in musselburgh to stay in. Very clean tidy and amazing host. Alice will make sure you’re feeling welcomed and at home. We took a large room with multiple beds. Amazing view. Great breakfast and very close from shops. If you like to walk it’s 30 min to the train station or down the street for a bus ride.

It was a great opportunity to stay in a renovated castle, with the use of two floors & the roof top which had excellent views over Edinburgh & Blackness Bay. The 7ft bed was really comfy & basically we had everything we needed including loads of breakfast & lots of hot water for a relaxing bath after a long day. Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

Everything!! It is even better than all the famous hotel chains I have ever lived in. Abe is so friendly and detail oriented. I need to leave early in the morning and he prepared the breakfast and sent to me at 6:45am, which is impressive and helpful for the full day travel. Hotel room is spacious and clean, you have everything. There is also a bus 44 right in front of the house, so quite convenient. If I come to Edinburgh again, for sure I will book again.
