I used to clean 5 Star rooms in college--so I have an eye for this! Rooms were also super cozy with the cutest view of the river! Also, they are the perfect size--and on the bigger side for space. The staff seemed family oriented --super nice and went above and beyond for us! I have never experienced such hospitality.

Amazing place 5 stars Prefect for attending a wedding at Cubley Hall and surrounding area
Beautiful setting and great location - a short walk to the local shop and 2 fantastic pubs. The bed was super comfortable, and the facilities all worked as they should. The outdoor bath with sufficient privacy screening was incredible, our favourite part. Pip has the same name as me, so she got 5 stars instantly... jokes aside, she was a great host.
The staff at this hotel are outstanding. All very friendly and super helpful .They are the best thing about this hotel.All should be commended on their customer service and helpfulness.Whoever recruits and trains your staff gets 5 Stars from me .

Everything was spot on. Food and room were faultless. Staff were fantastic. 5 stars.
The place itself is amazing, there's a TV in every room, high speed WiFi, very clean throughout. The view outside was beautiful and serene, which consisted of horses grazing, greenery and obviously the view off the moorland. The owners dogs made are stay even more satisfying and enjoying, they come round to say hi, to play and most importantly to get tummy rubs. Me and my partner will definitely be coming back there again. Also it's ideally located for so many walks around the area. I would highly recommend this property. 5 stars!

Location was perfect for Alton Towers theme park. Food was superb and our accommodation was spot on. Margaret and her staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. 5 stars all round.
