Was our first time trying a home stay but we do not regret our decision at all. Mohammad is the best host, he organised the trips for us. He also cooked us lunch & breakfast which was delicious. I highly recommend staying here 5 stars
I have been here few times. nothing to complain about. Cannot compare with five star hotel. but they have everything what I need. AC is working very well. Hot water working very well. Customer service is very good. Will defiantly come again.

We had a fabulous experience at Ivy Lake. The guys running it went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, especially Mahindra, who prepared us fantastic meals and great coffee. The room was sparkling clean, aircon super cool, wifi really good, five stars all round! Location was close to the monument park.
Kanchi and Mapa are the friendliest people ever. This place deserves a 5 star rating. The room was nice and the dinner that Kanchi cooked was amazing, you MUST eat there. We ate with the other guest and had such a fun time there. We helped them in the kitchen en just sat there to chat with them. Mapa's brother guided us around in Anuradhapura, so that was also very easy to arrange. The hospitality of these people is amazing. If you stay here I promise you won't regret it. Just book it!

I was afraid earlier great reviews might be too favourable. They were not! It is a small hotel but perfectly formed with exceptional staff and manager. The chefs (3) were outstanding and food the best. I know this sounds too good to be true but is the truth. Try this place and see for yourself. I cannot praise the staff and chefs too highly, overseen by a very customer focussed manager. Better than the 5* hotel I stayed at in Colombo

The place is beautiful with the luxuriant garden.
The breakfast is a 5 stars breakfast and the dinner was really good. Also a super value for the price.
We even received a gift for our departure.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay for one or many nights. Thank you all !
