We had a great time walking in the night under the moon. The outside area of the building can be used for work or eating. I was using my laptop at night, enjoying the nice breeze in a wonderful environment. They requested me to keep the food waste outside and clean immediately; that made a big difference to the room. If I had left them in the room, that could have made the room smell. They are really doing a good job of keeping the room clean. They have a nice kitten; don't forget to say hi to him.

The owner, Bradley, was helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were both spacious. We particularly enjoyed having a hot shower as that is something we have found very hard to find in sri lanka. There was AC and a fan in the room, which worked perfectly as the room would have been warm without it. Also, it was nice that they leave a complimentary bottle of water in the room for their guests. The location was perfect. A short walk to the supermarket, restaurants, and the bus stop, but it was off the main street, so it was still quite at night.

Located in Anuradhapura, Earls Rajarata provides 3-star accommodation with private balconies. We book a deluxe family room 2 beds room. This was more of a family suite with 2 interconnected rooms that sleeps up to 5 people. the rooms were beyond our expectations. Beds are very comfortable. Spacious bathrooms with modern fixtures. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by Lakshani and Dinesh. After a delicious welcome drink, we were ushered to our rooms that we felt like an oasis after a tiring day of traveling. After a brief rest and a tasty cup of tea, we head out to worship Jaya Sri Maha Bhodiya and Ruwanwelisaaya. We anticipated to return by 8pm for dinner but we returned well past 8pm. Surprisingly, Dilan were waiting for us with a smile in his face (Although his work shift was about to end). We apologized for been so late for dinner but he was very accommodating with a smile. After stuffing ourselves with delicious food prepared by chef Sujeewa, we retired to our rooms. Before we left the restaurant Dilan mentioned that breakfast will be ready around 8am (as far as I remember). Early in the morning we realized that we better leave around 6am so that we can visit Sigiriya Rock before it gets hot. So I informed the hotel staff we would not be staying for breakfast (although we paid for it ahead of time). Despite such a short notice, they (Sujeewa, his staff and Dilan) arranged out breakfast before our departure which must be applauded. Based on our experience, this place is highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a place to stay when visiting Anuradhapuraya.

Luke and the other staff were all exceptionally helpful and accommodating, couldn't fault our stay. They went above and beyond at every opportunity. Monaara also provides bicycle rentals which is a great way to see the Anuradhapura. Food was also delicious, with a great selection available for all meals but especially for dinner
