Location excellent. Property superb. Outstanding attention to detail. Excellent facilities. Every need catered for. Comfy bed. Quiet, well sound insulated property. Slept very well. Much better than expected all round. Personal and friendly owners/hosts with impeccable taste.
The accommodation was superb, the complimentary toiletries in the room were 5 star, the food was exceptional and the staff were so very professional yet friendly and nothing was too much trouble, a very pleasant weekend no complaints at all.

Hotel facilities were fantastic bedrrom and bathroom were beautiful and Had everything you could possible need staff were wonderful food was delicious I will definitely recommend this hotel staff were fantastic. I wish we could have stayed longer. Cant fault this hotel I would give it 5 stars for everything
This hotel was very good value for money. Taking that into account, I would give it 5 stars. We were both very pleased. As for location, it would be impossible to get better. Would definitely stay here again.
We were very impressed with Drew and his team. The building is fabulous and we were in the Miss Eastern room. If you like old world curtesy and charm this the place. Exceptional service, outstanding breakfast by a London chef and his wife Jill. Will definitely come again and recommend it to friends and family.
This is like staying in a country house for a weekend house party. The honesty bar was. Revelation.
I would hardly ever -if ever rate a place a ten out of ten, but I feel this place deserves it. For the price, it operates as a 5 star hotel with luxury touches at every point. The building is beautiful and interior designed. The rooms are replenished with treats galore which after a long journey are much appreciated. Breakfast choices were clear and interesting and the quality of food first rate. I have nothing but praise for The Kings Head which is far more than some pub hotel - would love to stay again.
What an amazing little find this was outstanding in my eyes the owner was so polite and really did look after us going out of her way to make us feel so welcome. Breakfast was exceptional!!! Candles lit felt like we were in a 5 star hotel we will definitely be staying here again!!!!
Where do I start? The warm welcome, friendly & helpful staff, great meals (breakfast & dinner), clean tidy rooms, the view from the beer garden, good local beers, covid precautions and more all add up to my 5 stars. Even Gertie & Rufus got on well (those in the know, know lol).
A little touch of luxury in a picturesque Yorkshire village. The owners have transformed what was once a tiny village farmers’ local into a 5 star hotel.
