I love the quiet environment, but some branches were scratching on the roof in the wind…
The cottage is in a lovely rural setting surrounded by gardens, fruit trees and rustic outbuildings. It was very warm, and all the beds had electric blankets. The retro kitchen was well stocked. The best part of our stay was Lulu the 14 year old cat who stole our hearts. She slept on a couch in the garage (well she was supposed to sleep there but actually slept in the house with us). She was just gorgeous

Beautiful old farmhouse, considerate and kind hosts
Well maintained old farm house. Raymond and Eva were lovely hosts. Comfortable bedroom with ensuite and cosy, character filled living & dining rooms. The inclusive breakfast was a nice touch and good way to start the day.
Very nice farmstay experience. Interesting old house, very warm and cosy, even though it was the middle of winter.The hosts are a lovely couple, we enjoyed chatting with them. Eva showed us the hand-knitted garments she had spun the wool from their own sheep. Would like to return to see the garden in Spring/Summer.
We LOVED the rural location. The rustic, yet modern property was great. Charmingly rustic, but my wife commented that you could definitely tell there was a woman's touch about the place.
Delicious breakfast available in farmhouse style kitchen. Wide range of food available from fresh fruit to fresh bread, scones and pannacotta and barista style coffee. Friendly relaxed atmosphere.
