Safe location and saw the sheep and cows. Even got to go and milk the cows in the morning. Calf born 6 hours earlier.

Great old farm house with Charme and hot tub.
The most delightful lodging of our entire 10 night stays in Iceland. And they have all been good. It's an adorable guesthouse with a spacious shared living area and kitchen. The bathroom provides ample space as well. Not so tight, like many places. I highly recommend staying at Eidi Farmhouse if you are staying on the Snæfellsjökull Peninsula.
Nice setting on a farm with various animals, it has the potential for a charming rural hotel. Very pleasant restaurant with a great atmosphere, serving good dinner and breakfast
Modern amenities in the cabin (including towel warmers!) with a rustic feel all around (farmhouse). Very helpful and friendly host - helped with directions and late check-in.
This old farmhouse was very cozy, clean and homey. There is a large dining and lounge area to hang out and a well equipped kitchen a high is clean and well maintained. There is a coffee maker, and lots of condiments to use. The beds are comfortable, and temperature inside is really good. Check in process was easy. There was no need to communicate with the host during our stay, and we only met someone briefly upon check out when they came to change the sheets.
Sæmundur is the best host ever! Very interesting conversations surrounded by historical atmosohere and smell of Sæmundur's waffers. His grand daughter Emilie was very helpfull and serviceminded too. Location is perfect to visit nearby Hraunfoss and Barnafoss as well for hiking trips. We will definetily stay again in this old farmhouse.
A very nice stay in the beautiful countryside of Snæfellsnes. We had a private room and shared a kitchen and bathroom with two other rooms. It's an old farmhouse in the typical Icelandic style, the bathroom and kitchen have been renovated charmingly.
The host was welcoming and engaging. He greeted us with waffles and a variety of spreads. We enjoyed eating and some time of pleasant conversation. The guesthouse is a 100 year old farm house and has a rustic Icelandic charm. We also enjoyed homemade breakfast before leaving.
