All amenities are available. The view from the window was amazing. The location is good for aurora watching at night too.

It was very clean and well equipped. I will never forget the view from the balcony. The nature was stunning.

Guesthouse Nypugardar's bright rooms offer views of the Hornafjördur Fjord and Iceland’s highest mountain, Hvannadalshnjúk. Toilets and showers are shared. so beautiful and everyone was kind. food was great! I just wish we had more time there to really enjoy it and the room we have was stunning

Álftröð is 5 km from Brautarholt, a 30-minute drive to Geysir and Gullfoss Waterfall and a 40-minute drive to the Þingvellir National Park. There is a 360-degree mountain view from the guest house as well as a view of Hekla, Eyjafjallajökul and Tindfjöll, the most famous volcanoes in Iceland. Excellent breakfast, location and overall lovely guesthouse, our host was also very friendly, this was our favorite accommodation throughout our 10 day trip in Iceland!
