At the end of a steep road on top of a hill. Scenery splendid. Very beautiful, traditional vineyard building. Well-equipped kitchen and nicely decorated rooms. Excellent base for visiting all the must-go places. The Italians normally start the heating first in November. We stayed at the end of October and in the night it was freezing cold. However, the friendly owner put the heating on for us a bit earlier. It made our stay very pleasant. It is also good to know that there is no washing machine in the apartment, although it was mentioned in the confirmation. Luckily, there were two wash machines in common use.

This was the best place we stayed at during our whole Italy tour. The overall feeling of being there was just so great that we were sad to leave. Alberto was very welcoming and we got even an insight in how the wine and olive oil is produced (and we were allowed to taste it - great quality, especially excellent olive oil! ) The view is breathtaking. It’s so close to the next city but it is still so quiet and surrounded by olive groves and wines. The rooms are spacious and have everything needed. We would love to return one day :-)

We stayed 5 days at this wonderful property. The property is a dream, for nature lovers, animal lovers, and anyone looking to disconnect and get to know Tuscany. It is perfectly located in central Tuscany within 30-40 min drive of both Siena and Florence. 20 minutes away from San gimignano and Volterra. The property is splendid, with the old chapel of Santa Maria a Poneta. We enjoyed walking through the property petting the beautiful horses and watching the owners ride. We loved being greeted by the owners friendly dogs, and chit chatting with other vacationers we occasionally bumped into on the grounds, people from all over the world. The pool area was beautiful but it was still a bit cold in early may to enjoy it. Our apartment had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. Independent access with a private terrace so you don’t have to see anyone if you don’t want to. The hosts were impeccable, Suzanna is awesome. They shared a bunch of great recommendations with us, none of which were disappointing. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

it is located close to Florence, Siena and San Gimignano, but in a quiet place in the countryside. it had a pool (!) and an outside barbeque.

the place was so amazing I was excited to write a review. The lady at the front desk is so polite and sweet, so accommodating, walked me through the property upon arrival. the room was so cozy with the wooden ceiling. the pool was fabulous and refreshing. the location of the property was tucked away just far enough away from town to keep the property so zen and quiet. the amazing woman asked me about my dietary restrictions and adjusted the breakfast to my needs. this place was amazing, i cannot wait to come back.
