Featuring free WiFi, Grappoli di Sole is set in Rome, 2 km from Pomezia Train Station with links to Roma Termini Train Station. Free private parking is available on site. Castel Romano Outlet Village and the water park Zoomarine are both 19 km away.

Breakfast is served daily either in a kitchen with fireplace or in a veranda with views on the vineyards.

Staying at the Grappoli di Sole was lovely.  This was our first stop for our summer holiday and coming from a bustling city, we thought staying in the rural countryside would help us relax into our trip.  Having to adapt to the time difference, we were up early every morning and quietly enjoyed the sunrise, the morning breeze and the scenic Italian countryside surrounding the vineyard from our room balcony. We looked forward to the homemade breakfast every morning. The hostess bakes an array of exquisite pastries, including bread, croissants, sponge cake, coffee cake and apple pie. There's even a nice coffee machine and the hostess will take your order and serve it to you, even though it's easy to operate yourself. The hostess was kind enough to drop us off and pick us up from the Pomezia - S. Palomba station. We'd ride the train into Roma Termini, which takes about 16 minutes and hit the tourist spots from there on. The hostess even treated us to a bottle of white wine made from the grapes in the vineyard. It was refreshing, not too dry nor fruity, right in the middle. I recommend tourists traveling to Rome to stay at the Grappoli di Sole for a relaxing and personal experience.

For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. We had a great stay overall, the hosts were nice and responsive, the apartment was clean. The location is very good, the house is located in a quiet street. There's a train station nearby which brings you to the airport, the metro is very close, there are supermarkets, nice restaurants and cafes in the area, a local farmers market, etc.

We LOVED the location of the property. It was just far enough away from all the mass amounts of tourists while still walkable to certain historic sites like the colosseum. There is a grocery store right next door along with a Farmacia, various restaurants and gelato nearby. Our host kindly scheduled a cab to the airport for us our last morning there which took away the stress from us. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very cosy, clean. The rooms are spacious, bright. Every day cleaning. Breakfasts can be paid additionally for 5 euros/breakfast. Very hearty, for every taste. The staff speaks English. Location is convenient, in 5 minutes several stops, metro (2 different branches). In the evening you can walk to the Coliseum. Definitely recommend.

This is a old house (1912 a.d.)on Aventino hill. Everything outside is rustic…. Rooms and bathroom are new. It’s clean, well managed, it has betiful yard where you can sit at night. If you have to pay 40 euros and sleep in dirty rooms with 8 people…. Don’t. Spend litlle bit more and stay here… place is amazing.

Everything was wonderful, the apartment is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the facilities are perfect. Claudia, our host, was already waiting for us upon arrival, explained everything thoroughly. The kitchen was spacious, its equipment satisfied all needs, and it was a real community space for us. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms provided the required privacy. On top of everything there was a little market in our street, where we could buy all kinds of vegetables and fruits from local farmers. Thank you!

The location is amazing. You can see Vatican from the street and it is a 5 minute walk. The area is peaceful and safe, you can find very good restaurants, pizzeria, and cafes nearby. We hardly used public transport because it is in a walking distance to most attractions and one needs to walk the streets of Rome :) The room has all you need, and you wake up to the chirping of birds. Additionally, Sonder has a very good app and 24/7 live support for every need. I also used their Milan branch and it was 10/10!

This hotel exceeded our expectations for Rome. We stayed in 12 hotels/farmstays over 4 weeks for our European trip (Holland, Italy, Paris) and this was one was the absolute best value. The bed was in the top 3, the room was very spacious for a major city hotel and the bathtub would have been amazing if it wasn't 36 degrees out. I was tempted to have an ice bath but I had no access to ice.

Set in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Rome, this converted farmhouse was a great spot to get over jet-lag for a couple of days before heading into the city to stay and see the sights. A short train ride to Castel Gandolfo. The hotel is comfortable, lovely pool, and the buffet breakfast is delicious with friendly staff!! A free shuttle is offered from the local Metro station which is very handy.

There’s a reason why the ratings are so high at Il Casale nel Parco Guesthouse, the attention to detail is second to none in this recently renovated 200 year old farm house. This is a small family business run by Ludovico and his parents. Ludovico goes above and beyond as a host and nothing seems too much trouble. I cant recommend Il Casale nel Parco Guesthouse highly enough. Matt from England, Nov 2022
