All rooms feature a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities with hot chocolate, herbal teas and homemade biscuits. I can't say enough good things about my stays at Highfield Farm. Everything from breakfast to a wonderfully comfortable bed made my stay enjoyable. I enjoyed sharing stories with other guests, as well as the hostess and staff. I was even contacted about a left-behind item. Thankfully, I had planned to return at the end of my holiday and was able to retrieve it.

Spacious house with good sized enclosed garden and patio area. Perfect for a family get together, with children and a small dog and we really appreciated the toiletries for the baby. House was well equipped and clean.

Given the location and nature of the hotel there were lots of families. Some of the parents could be more in control of their offspring as there was a child running up and down the corridor screaming at 12 midnight. NOT THE HOTEL'S FAULT of course but be prepared it can happen or go to a more upmarket hotel. Miserable girl at check-in but the other staff were charming, helpful and hard working.
Everything was perfect and very home welcoming. It was very clean spotless. My 2nd time staying here with a disabled child and a toddler. My kids live this place. There was lots of stuff to eat in kitchen, which was very nice and easy for me so I don’t need to go out on a tiring journey day to shop for some food for breakfast. The garden is nice and big that the kids had a nice play for fresh air. The owner of the house is such a lovely person. I wouldn’t go any where else to stay
There is NO ROOM!! This property is a scam!!! This place is vile, it’s disgusting, every single wall is covered in mud, grime and food. The kitchen looks unsafe, and has mould, the pull out bed had stains on it (my kids were expected to sleep on this) the double bed is 2 boxes put together, the building stinks of drugs. Do not stay here!! I had to cancel and got no refund and the property have not responded to booking.com, they have ignored them, and I have been charged even though I could not stay there!
Katherine was so helpful. We travelled from Ireland for a family funeral and Katherine had one room ready so we could drop off all our bags and get ready, hours before check in. We were so grateful. The guest house is beautiful with enormous beds! Thanks so much Katherine 😀
Absolutely a wonderful place. Would definately recommend it. Very family orientated. There is a lift, if you have kids or heavy shopping. Only positive things to say about the stay. The bathroom and bedrooms were perfect, and we got to beds for the toddlers. It was a great flat for a family of 5. Location is right in the center.
We took a young baby with us, and Luton Hoo were more than accommodating with a bed, linens and change mat provided in the room and a high chair at breakfast. Splash times are provided at the pool which is great, to allow children to attend without impacting the guests who would like to enjoy and relax at the pool without young children! All the staff we encountered were nothing other than polite and very helpful.
