My wife and I really appreciated the fact that all the plugs were baby proofed and that there was a camping cot ready to be used if we wanted to use it, considering that we were travelling with our baby. We stopped in Swellendam on our way from the airport to the Garden Route, so the location was not a destination for us. The Upper Deck was welcoming, clean, and relaxing. We appreciated the spacious apartment, with much more to offer than we needed in terms of utensils and household items. The upper deck itself (outside the apartment) has cozy seating and would be something we would enjoy on a longer stay, but we did not spend enough time on this trip. We slept well, despite some slight occasional noise from the road. The breakfast was delicious, including hot items, and got us ready for the day.
