Etienne was so interesting and knowledgeable about the local area and South Africa in general. The guest house was beautiful and the room we had was comfortable and very well equipped. There was WiFi ,hot water and lights during load shedding. The breakfast was tasty and generous. There was pool but too cold for us in August. A great stay, we would stay again. Location was good for the village and the national park.

Beautiful property. We stayed here one night for my birthday and the room was absolutely beautiful and nicely set up. My favourite thing is the wood burning fireplace in the room which made for an extremely cost atmosphere. The property itself is pretty and in a nice area a short 4min drive from the old historic part of Swellendam. Lana helped us book a nice dinner (the last table) in town upon our arrival and was very sweet. The room had nice complimentary touches (coffee, rusk, etc.). This room would be great for couples or family with 1 or 2 small kids as there are bunk beds in the room.

This 5-star boutique hotel features a small eco-reserve with Zebras and Springboks, a large garden pool, and an open-air jacuzzi. Located in Swellendam, restaurants and cafes are just 50 metres away.

Featuring European-style comforts, each of the suites include air conditioning and views of the eco-reserve. Also included are granite-floor bathrooms with under-tile heating and heated towel rail.

This was the most beautiful Guest House we have ever stayed in. The property is tranquil and secluded, with a private hot tub and a small but luxurious pool area and gorgeous manicured gardens. The added bonus was seeing the zebra and Springbok at the bottom of the gardens. The rooms were presented like a 5 star hotel, with little touches of fresh flowers on all of the linen. we would go out of our way to stay again .

VIlla Verona was net 'n uitmuntende ervaring. Beslis 'n volle 10/10.

We stayed in Aan de Eike Guest House for one night only. Nevertheless we can strongly recommend that place to everybody starting from families with kids and ending with solo travellers. This place has a very good location in a safe area close to good restaurants. Our room was big, well equipped and clean.

The family suite was excellent, especially with the kids. The kids loved the bunked beds, and the toys that were in the room just made it so more special. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The beds are comfy, and the service was great, and the staff were very helpful

If you are looking for a remote getaway, this is the place for you. A beautiful manor house in the open wilderness. This is the perfect property for family holidays. There are many rooms and they have many entertainment options if kids come along, including a pool, board games, ping pong. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need to make your stay enjoyable (including a great coffee machine).

Excellent guesthouse for a family of 4 (parents and 2 adult children). Friendly host and great location with beautiful view on the garden and the mountains in the background. We had dinner in the restaurant nearby: Republic of Swellendam. Decent food and nice atmosphere. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent!

Big rooms with lots of space. Clean bathrooms. Great swimming pool and enough space for children to play. Place is perfect for more than one family traveling together - various compartments on the same premises. On arrival there were already wood in the braai - absolutely attention to detail on everything.

We loved the canoeing, breakfast & braai baskets, the hot tub 😋, the tent/cabin, the vibe was amazing. Staff were very friendly. Very family friendly for kids. Beautiful scenery and garden. We would definitely visit again as it was extremely relaxing and an amazing, unique experience. We watched the stars every night in the hot tub. Would really recommend for a getaway. We had a massage from Anke (Oena Escapes) , I would definitely recommend - ask host for more information. Host was very kind to answer all our questions 😊.
