I love the scenery and natural environment. Love the snorkeling and pool. And finding little spots around to sit and meditate. Getting away from the fast life and just sitting back to enjoy nature's peace

The hospitality of Philip, Susan and their sons was absolutely incredible. They were so gracious with their time without being over bearing on your privacy. This is the spot to stay when checking out the volcano side of Tanna. You will have everything you need to see the vanuatu culture from the perfect location. For reasonable rates, the hosts will take care of any other logistic you need. -Set up the 2 hour car ride to and from the airport. -Local recipe dinners by Susan and she’s a great cook. I believe they offered lunch as well but I was going on these great adventures they offer to guide you through: -A local village that will show you dances and rituals of their indigenous culture -A hot spring heated river that flows into the ocean overlooking the volcano -And of course, the hike to the rim of the volcano. I had so much time to chat with the family and they are all so kind. I don’t leave reviews, I was very compelled on this one. Stay in this treehouse. Friendly reminder to grab cash and break it down in Port Vila or at the market in Tanna.

Mike sam and family were extremely welcoming in their home, and you could tell they put genuine effort into making our stay comfortable and memorable. The tree house is awesome with a great view, the functional toilet is a luxury. Would happily stay for much longer in this beautiful part of Tanna. Looking forward to meeting again and playing our Spot It game. - Sarel and Sara

The views, comfort, services, food, tours were excellent. The staff were very welcoming and courteous. The complimentary airport transfer was good and convenient. The resort was a 5 min drive from the airport too. The tours depart from the resort which made it easier. The swimming pool and snorkeling close to the resort was nice. Blue cave and Mount yasur tours which we did, were so easy to book from the resort. 2 separate bathrooms for a family was a bonus. Very happy to have booked the resort during our stay.

We loved the family atmosphere and authentic way of life. Joyce and Lucy were amazing. Joyce is an great cook and accommodated our vegetarian lifestyle with no problems. There were chickens and dogs to give us our pet fix. We were very happy there 💓the volcano didn’t disappoint either. Spectacular 🔥

The family managing the premises are super pleasant. They take care of you during all your stay. Rooms are decent and include a mozzie net. It's just 100? meters away from the volcano entrance.

We really liked the idea of sponsoring the locals by going to this resort as it was owned by Tom's family. Breakfast and lunch were good. You eat with an amazing view. Unfortunately Margareth did not cook dinner and Tom is a great guide, an even better driver, but cooking is not his stronger side. There are two resorts close by with very decent food. The Blue hole 1 or 2 is right in front of the resort and it was amazing to swim and snorkel in there. Great spot for whale watching.

Everything about WGOR&S exceeded our expectations! We arrived as guests and left feeling like family! Beautiful grounds, hospitable staff, amazing food and diverse menu, diving crew were 👌 and of course the facilities were second to none. We enjoyed the sunset every evening from the most gorgeous location and we made some wonderful memories on the tours offered. I felt totally grounded and refreshed after our time at White Grass.

Amazing location for snorkeling. Very well maintained. Good service. Small and quiet resort with friendly management. Good breakfast. Good babysitters for our 6 year old. By agreement they took him to play with the kids in the village which he loved. Very beautiful and peaceful location. Blue holes, blue cave and volcano were amazing. We saw volcano when at a property on the other side of the island. Lack of aircon was not an issue.
