Lovely location in the middle of Big Sur. Nice room with big and comfortable bed. We had dinner at the pub/restaurant with decent pizza and a fun pub quiz! Market/cafe next door has anything you might need.

The location was excellent, bang in the middle of a forest/state park. The room was spacious and well laid out. The bathroom was a little tiny, but it was very clean. The restaurant on the premises served very good food and drinks. It was lovely to have a fireplace at the reception, where you could sit with food or wine, or just chill by the fireside. I loved the games kept in the rooms, we spent a lot of time bonding as a family while playing. Would go back in a heartbeat.

It was an adorable, old fashioned motel. The staff was nice. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. We appreciated having three beds, as we were traveling with our two kids.
