We came covered in mud from the BMX racing tournament and Franca gave us the warmest welcome ever, helped clean our mess. The place is a jewel from 14th century. The kids would have loved to enjoy the pool but the weather was too cold unfortunately. Great breakfast including gluten free options.

We stayed here while visiting a trade show in Vicenza, which is about 30 minutes drive. The village is up in the mountains so the drive is quite pleasant in daylight, as you can either use the toll motorway (quicker) or take the smaller roads. Host Roberto showed us around - accommodation is an ensuite room in the apartment (up a flight of stairs) and directed us to a nearby family restaurant (excellent). The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, while parking (in the small cul-de-sac outside) was easy. A basic continental breakfast is included.
