Beautiful place in a charming location in Sligo. The host greeted us and had time for a chat and to show us around. There is a comfortable common area where you can sit and unwind. The room was very clean, spacious and we had the best sleep! The highlight of the stay was a fantastic breakfast- there was a choice of sourdough breads, yoghurt/berries, fantastic cooked Irish breakfast and the host even organised crepes for my 10 year old! I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to explore Sligo while staying in a tranquil, cozy location with a fantastic lake view, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast!

Beautiful little cabin in a beautiful area, the owners are very friendly and provide what they can in the space available. A nice place to escape everything
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Fantastic house is a very quiet rural location. Ideal for a few days away with family or friends. The house was well equipped and spotlesslly clean and had the added bonus of a wooded picnic area with a bar and firepit.
Everything was fantastic. We were met on arrival with a lovely coffee and apple pie. Thanks Gerry. The host family were wonderful, friendly and professional. Great spot !
Cute cottage with two bedrooms. Good for families. Lots of space to park your car and for children to run around outside.
They had everything you could need in the kitchen, including washing up liquid, salt, oil etc
Everything! The house is incredible 😲. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could have possible needed during our stay. The house was huge and fitted everyone in our party 6 adults 2 children. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept well. The views were incredible. The nature was insane. We seen deer, bats and amazing variety of birds. We would love to go back!
The property was stunning! Though it was an older building it kept heat really well.
The surrounding area was so picturesque and my grandchildren loved being around the animals. The garden area was lovely on the sunny days, plenty of room in front for several vehicles and the room inside meant we never felt like we were on top of one another the welcome pack was a lovely little touch too.
We had a lovely couple of days staying with Maggie, her home is lovely, warm, clean and comfortable. A fabulous continental breakfast, cereal, fresh fruit and local homemade bread. It was like staying with a family member.
Karen was probably one of the best hosts that I have had since using Booking.com. We had to add someone else on to the booking, this was no problem, we had to change the dates of the booking this was also was no problem. Karen had asked what our requirements were for bread milk etc before we arrived which is a really thoughtful touch, overall I would recommend this stay to all of my friends/family. The house was spotlessly clean and fresh and beds were comfortable.
The location is on the doorstep of LoughKey Forest Park which has an abundance of family friendly activities. The premises is beautiful with its own relaxing garden to enjoy. The host is a very friendly helpful lady and her breakfast was magnificent.
Helen was a lovely host, very informative, extremely polite and helpful, rooms were beautiful as was the grounds. Would love to stay again in the future, and we would highly recommend forest park House to anyone, families, couples. Breakfast was lovely, options for everyone. Activity park next door for children, beautiful place and gardens, gift shop and boat hire which was very popular. Helen called us a taxi for nearest pub which was only 12€ and same taxi brought us back no problems. This place is a must see, it won't let you down.
