Perfect Villa with amazing view. Everything what you need is on site. Clean swimming pool, short distance to best local Taverna. Effie is a very polite and professional host. We arrived late from our flight but George kindly left a key for us. His beautiful mother had made us muffin and biscuits which were exceptional. His father clearned the pool every morning. Also his mother made us more Greek deserts during our stay. Beautiful,beautiful people!! The view was amazing and the pool just a dream. The entire Villa was perfect for our stay , we are seasoned travellers and this villa if you want your own privacy and serenity is the ideal location. I would suggest hiring a car but we managed walking down to rethymno and getting a taxi back when we needed food supplies. The two local tavernas are a few minutes away offering homemade food and both Stella & Elena the owners of each couldn't be more hospitable I'm not easily impressed but I can assure anyway Villa Maria is just a magical place to have a lovely holiday.
